What is counselling?

Counselling is a process in which space and time is given to you to explore issues which have become difficult for you to cope with. This exploration takes place with you and your therapist in a confidential setting.

People come to counselling for many different reasons. Here at DPC, we can offer you help on a long or short term basis, depending on your particular situation and concerns. Our service is available to individuals, (childern, young people, adults) and couples.

Counselling and psychotherapy requires commitment in order to achieve success. As part of this process, counselling sessions take place on a weekly basis and last for 50 minutes each, or longer if agreed with your chosen therapist.
